All I have to say is I am planning on hauling butt to the plantation house and gluing myself to one of the pool loungers. I adore anything that has to do with Rebecca and Aleks, happily we had several scenes with them and out other friends from previous books. So many new fellas in the mix, I am a little worried that most of them are gay, where are the ladies for my big ole bears? Oh, and I have a new crush in Moe! But I was caught up in the steam a couple times and read right through! I will admit to a touch of skimming there as it is not my preference. The steamy action is very hot and heavy if you are into that. The story was wonderfully paced with plenty of action in the story to keep you on the edge of your seat, or bed reading until 3am!! I just could not put it down!! It is seriously addictive and I now need to add Ms Alder to my list of authors to never read anywhere near bedtime! It is not difficult to see why Gabriel, the big bad vampire prince would fall under his spell! And they are just too precious together!! That is my reading MO, don't judge!īut there has always bee something about Ashby that is just so lovable, I couldn't not read his story! And boy does this book deliver!!!
